If you create a Path account, we’ll default to the address associated with your account settings—even if you’re physically in a different location or country.

You can change the currency at any point. Maybe you want to see the prices listed in USD, but once you place your order, you want to change it to CAD. You can go ahead and do that at any time—as long as you haven’t entered and submitted your payment information yet.

Pay for orders without conversion fees

The amount shown during checkout will match the amount charged to your credit card, as long as the card is in the same currency you selected on the website.

If the card is in a different currency, your card issuer may apply additional foreign transaction or currency conversion fees. This may mean there’s a slight difference from billing and invoices than what’s actually been charged to your account. However, Path doesn’t issue or receive any foreign transaction or currency conversion fees—this all happens with your financial institution.

Your invoices will list the currency you used to pay for the order. A copy of the invoice is automatically sent to your email right after you submit payment, so you’ll be able to review it straight away.

Our company began as an opportunity realized. When we started in 2008, we saw a need in our community and a need in the industry for professional but affordable photo-editing services.

We wanted to get our brand and our community out there — and search engine optimization (SEO) was very much a part of our original strategy. The idea was to help people find us, make it as easy as possible for them to discover and use our services.

So we used the name “Clipping Path India” to capitalize on the awareness of India-based clipping path and photo editing services and to bring more awareness to our community here in Bangladesh. Other related services included background removal and transparent backgrounds, so we built our photo editing services around those photo edits.

This humble family business has since grown organically, and we’ve edited tens of thousands of photos for companies and photographers all across the globe. After 13 years in the business, it was time to take a closer look at what we’ve created. This process of looking inwards — at our mission, who we want to be, and the communities we want to serve — has helped us uncover what really matters to us. And now we’re applying it across our business.

Starting the path

Clipping Path India launched in 2008 with big aspirations. Photo-editing and ecommerce were a different landscape then. At the time, clipping paths were the most popular Photoshop technique for background removal. And they were equally tedious. So many professionals outsourced that work to agencies and individuals in India, thanks to its robust outsourcing and IT economy.

We wanted to bring the same opportunities to our home of Bangladesh. So we did.

Because “clipping paths” and “India” were such popular search terms, we decided that would be the best way to gain visibility with new customers. So “Clipping Path India” was born.

Every year, Outsource Experts Ltd.—the parent company of Path—hosts an event to show appreciation for all of our employees. 

Building a Team

At Path, we work as a team. Completing more than 3,000 orders in a single month, we’re a busy bunch. Environments where employees work as a team are the most conducive to high-quality work.

Our annual event is about creating a tight-knit team while also showing appreciation for our employees’ hard work — and their families who support them at home. 

Even the kids got in on the fun!

After a careful vetting process for location, we ended up at the Megh Bai Resort, where more than 300 employees and their families enjoyed food and fun. Of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without a friendly game of cricket.

Our company was founded on the principle to do good for the world. Growing up in Bangladesh, I saw firsthand how people suffer by earning inadequate wages and workplaces with poor conditions.

That’s why we partnered with the United Nations: As a UN Global Compact partner, Outsource Experts Ltd. and Path must maintain high standards in the workplace.

We uphold the 10 principles set forth by the UN, the following of which are directly applicable to us as an employer:

Outsource Experts Ltd. has received the BASIS outsourcing award 2015 as a best start-up company at an awards ceremony on Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh in Kakrail, Dhaka. Outsource Experts Ltd. and its brand, Path, were established in 2008 and based in Dhaka, Bangladesh and India respectively, each company employs in excess of 300 specialists and provide outstanding Photo Editing Services worldwide.

The award ceremony was honored with the presence of Mr. AHM Mustafa Kamal, MP, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Planning and Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest.

Also in attendance as Special Guests were Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Honorable State Minister, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan, Secretary, Ministry of Education; and Mr. Shyam Sunder Sikder, Secretary, ICT Division. 

The prestigious award, given by BASIS (Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services) Outsourcing in one of five categories, recognizes Outsource Experts Ltd. for their successful growth and client services as one of the top providers of offshore photo editing services, graphic design services, data entry services, etc. in the world.

Even as a young company, Outsource Experts Ltd. has become successful and recognized on a worldwide scale rapidly due to their high quality, state-of-the-art photo editing work and excellent client relations. As an indication of their satisfied customer base, more than 25% of Outsource Experts Ltd.’s new clients come to them as a result of referrals.

Who is Outsource Experts Ltd.?

Outsource Experts Ltd. was started in 2008 by Atiqur Rahman Molla. While studying Graphic Design in his home country of Bangladesh, Molla came into contact with professionals who were looking for quality, affordable graphic design work, and large quantities of it. There was a specific desire for outsourcing companies in order to save money.

Molla realized then that by building a company and providing top quality services quickly, accurately, and with a professional team at it’s core that would be accessible to it’s clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that offered a wider variety of services customized to each client’s specific needs all in one place, he could create a very successful company.

Clipping Path India (now Path) was founded by entrepreneur Atiqur Sumon. During his years as a Graphic Design student, Sumon worked closely with experienced individuals in his field of study. From them he learned about the volume of demand for high quality, affordable clipping path and image manipulation services by professionals such as catalog companies and photographers. This inspired Sumon to create and expand his own outsourcing graphic design company. Hence, Clipping Path India was born.

Like Outsource Experts Ltd., Clipping Path India’s expert team of graphic design artists is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to answer questions and to work together closely to provide exactly what the client wants. New clients come predominantly by word of mouth and referrals from highly satisfied customers.

Who is BASIS?

BASIS is the national trade entity for the IT and software enabled service industry in Bangladesh. The association, established in 1997, has been instrumental in developing modern and expansive software and IT service industry within the country.

Through a schedule of regular activities and programs, BASIS consistently builds towards it’s broad spectrum of objectives including Domestic and International Market Development, capacity building of member companies as well as the industry as a whole; member services delivery and development, advocacy for the development of the IT and software-enabled service industry, and social contributions toward an advanced, technology-driven economy. To date, BASIS has been largely successful in attaining these goals.

BASIS is overseen by a Board of Directors consisting of nine members, each elected to a two-year term via direct voting of the members. The Board of Directors bears the responsibility for the affairs of BASIS and for making policies and guidelines for its secretariat.

Along with this Board of Directors, BASIS is overseen by ten Standing Committees comprised of members who are experts in various relevant areas beneficial to BASIS and it’s vision for the industry.
